SumTimeŽ's Creator -- Dr. Rudd Canaday

SumTimeŽ is designed and built by Rudd Canaday, who also founded SumTimeŽ Software. Dr. Canaday wrote his first computer program while an undergraduate at Harvard in 1959 - before most people even knew that computers existed.

After earning his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Canaday worked for 25 years at AT&T Bell Laboratories, doing research on data base and systems software, and managing large software projects.

Dr. Canaday chose early retirement from Bell Labs in 1989 in order to focus his considerable expertise and experience on the task of designing software that is robust, reliable, and easy to use. His extensive knowledge of data base management software enables him to incorporate sophisticated mechanisms into SumTimeŽ that protect your valuable data from corruption or destruction.

Dr. Canaday, who also holds the M.Div. degree from Union Theological Seminary, is committed to principles of honesty, trust, quality, and open communication. SumTimeŽ Software works to build the best possible product, and to provide the highest possible satisfaction to its customers.
